Presentation

 In charge of the Foreign Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also subject to the authority of the Prime Minister is headed by Mr. Ndiaye Mankeur since July 22, 2014 . 

Missions

 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad's missions according to the Decree 2014-871 of 22 July 2014 to prepare and implement the foreign policies of Senegal defined by the President of the Republic and the management and support of Senegalese living abroad.

As such, it negotiates international treaties and agreements, and represents the State in international meetings and joint commissions. He coordinates the official relations of Senegal with foreign states and international organizations. He represents the State in the competent bodies of the African Union. It ensures the implementation, monitoring and coordination in conjunction with the relevant ministries, integration African sub regional and regional policies. It is informed by the Minister of Economy, Finance and Planning of the negotiations taking place as part of the Franc Zone, OHADA and UEMOA. It provides assistance, as necessary, to the Senegalese abroad, promotes and coordinates initiatives their groupings. It develops mechanisms for their economic reintegration, social and cultural as well as access to housing and the promotion of their investment projects. He ensures the radiation of Senegal's image abroad. The skills he exercised shall be subject to international powers devolved to other ministers with their award decree and particularly those responsible for Justice, Economy, Finance and Planning and Trade.
