Freelance Agreement
|
Description
A Freelance Agreement, also known as a Freelancer Contract, is a contract between two Parties: a company, hiring the Freelancer and the Freelancer, generally an individual and independent professional, providing the services. The Freelancer is hired to perform a wide range of works across different industries such as: writing and content creation, graphic design, web development and digital marketing, creative arts, administrative and virtual assistance, research and data analysis, sales and marketing, etc. In the main aspects of the contract (hours of work, fees and expenses, payment conditions, location, applicable law and competent jurisdiction, etc.) a number of alternatives have been provided, for the most appropriate option to be selected according to the relationship between the Freelancer and the Client. The Freelance Agreement is similar to the Service Provider Contract but yet slightly different in the regard that is drafted specifically for a freelance relationship with an international Client, for a limited amount of hours per week/month in a certain project or, as the case may be, a series of projects of the same type. For the provision of freelance services to international clients the International Freelance Agreement should be used. |
