Description
This model is designed to apply to the employment conditions between a company located in one country, which takes on employees (and particularly, those in management and senior management positions) who reside in another country. It is to be especially used by companies, which have subsidiaries in several other countries and hire or contract employees who will need to move overseas. The relocation will involve a set of expenses and therefore requires the contract to include certain benefits additional to those included in a conventional salary. The twenty clauses of this contract cover main issues such as the job title, payment (salary plus bonus), contract period, paid leave, causes for dismissal, residence and work permits, and payment of taxes. The annexes of this agreement include additional settlements which may be offered to the employee, such as return travel to his/her country of residence, housing, company car, school fees, medical insurance, etc. Furthermore, to ensure a contract that best suits your needs, certain clauses include alternative options that fit the characteristics of the positioned governed by the contract. This contract may be used as a template for the preparation of agreements for expatriate employees. For employees (mainly managers and directors) who are required to relocate to a company located in another country, this contract may also be used as a guide for negotiating employment conditions with the company, which could offer such employment The language of this contract is English.
